Welcome to Nobundo.Com! This is designed to be a friendly environment to talk about anything and everything. But before we do, we need to go over some site basics. If you've been on the internet anytime within the last 20 years you likely are familiar with such guidelines. You will need to, by being a member of Nobundo, adhere to these rules whilst posting.
There is a search bar found at the top right of the page. You can use it at anytime to find a similar post to answer your question. While the site is in its infancy this will likely not need to be used much, however it still may be of use.
In addition to any rules and regulations you agree to when you sign up on Nobundo, here are some general guidelines to follow. I will update and change these periodically, and it is your responsibility to keep up to date with them.
• Don't post in all capital letters, use a misleading title, excessive punctuation, and/or non-standard symbols, etc.
While everyone wants their post read, it is important to let your post stand on its own merit. You don't need to be perfect in your grammar or some crap like that, but try not to make your post standout by using such practices.
• Do not "bump" posts.
This is not so much an issue right now, but try to refrain from bumping your post if it gets buried and no responses.
• Do not post about locked or deleted threads.
If a post was moderated, it was moderated for a reason. I likely will only moderate a post in extreme circumstances (such as spamming or if by law). I do believe in a free and open internet and I intended to take the same approach as much as possible on my site.
• Please use the appropriate tags.
Right now the forum software does not correctly restrict tags or enforce on-topic tags. As a result, when posting make sure you use the appropriate tags. For example, don't use the "Site Announcements" tag for a thread requesting cute cat photos. You may face penalties and your tag will be removed. If you don't know which tag to use, simply use the "General" tag.
• Do not Spam.
This is probably the single most important rule on here. Spam is really wild on the internet and I will be ruling against it with an iron fist. If you intentionally post spam, especially in excess, I will take severe action against your account and IP address if needed.
• Please refrain from posting pornography, malicious software, shady links, or anything illegal in the U.S. or other countries.
This one is kind of a no brainer, but please don't post such material. There's other places on the net for that. Illegal activities will be dealt with appropriately if I am required by law to do something.
• Profanity is not against the forum rules, but try to use it in moderation.
It's the internet, so this is a light rule. But the general idea is I want the site friendly to all, and excessive profanity will deter future guests. Try to be polite and respectable as much as possible.
While these "forum rules" are officially posted for the General Discussion channel, they apply for all the other channels that are found on Nobundo. So, for example, if you post something in the Overwatch channel, you will still be held liable to these rules.
That about does it for now. Happy posting!
